| Obiscarves They are created from Japanese Kimonos and other wonderful vintage fabrics. Each scarf is individually designed and crafted using unique combinations of fabrics once worn by Geisha and other beautiful people from long ago. A totem is sewn on each scarfto add a special wish. The fabrics are cleaned, prepared and reconditioned. Each OBISCARF IS CREATED FROM no longer SUITED FOR MUSEUM COLLECTIONS. The damaged areas keep it from becoming part of a collection. Thus, the best sections are saved and given new life in combination with many beautiful kimono fabrics, silks, and other unique textiles. |
