Each scarf is individually designed and crafted using unique combinations of fabrics once worn by Geisha and other beautiful people from long ago. A totem is sewn on each scarfto add a special wish. The fabrics are cleaned, prepared and reconditioned. Each OBISCARF IS CREATED FROM no longer SUITED FOR MUSEUM COLLECTIONS. The damaged areas keep it from becoming part of a collection. Thus, the best sections are saved and given new life in combination with many beautiful kimono fabrics, silks, and other unique textiles. |
